PAYCE Urban Development project - premium apartment and luxury lifestyle residential apartments

Kirrawee - South Village Retail and Apartment development at the site of the old Brick Pit.

The brick pit site is situated on the southern side of the Princes Highway and lies within the block bounded by the Princes Highway to the north, Flora Street to the south, Oak Road to the west and existing industrial businesses to the east.

The upcoming PAYCE development in Kirrawee is situated on the former Kirrawee brickpit site and will mark a significant renewal in the Sutherland Shire.

The future looks bright for Kirrawee's old brick pit, with PAYCE lodging revised concept plans for their Masterplan community development with the Department of Planning and Infrastructure for Determination. Following an extensive review by PAYCE of the previously approved concept plan.

With new quality residential, open plaza retail and close to one hectare of public parkland, this exciting new development from PAYCE, located just 150m from Kirrawee train station, is expected to create a new thriving destination in Sydney's Shire. Project Summary. Some redesign and restructuring was recommended for improved traffic flow and safety for residents near the proposed site.

Sydney's most anticipated new destination for lifestyle living, close to local schools, bus and train stations and we notice which has become natural to all prestige premier residential apartment communities from PAYCE, expansive parklands and outdoor recreation areas. To facilitate family friendly social spaces for community residents to gather, relax and enjoy life.

The vision, as expounded by Mr Brian Boyd Managing Director of PAYCE Consolidated Pty Limited, is to create a contemporary mixed use development for Kirrawee which will enhance and contribute to the "village" ambience and character. Somewhere we hope will become a focus for the residents of the Sutherland Community.

This development presents a unique opportunity utilising the existing deep pit excavation to place the majority of car parking, loading and retail facilities below a ground floor Podium for a distinctive garden type residential development.

The concept's design works with the topography of the site by adapting its unique features into a solution that gives emphasis to creating superior private and public spaces. The retail component of the development is "sleeved" under a landscaped podium and linked to the piazza which is surrounded by external retail and cafes. The general form of the buildings comprise of placing predominantly lower height buildings along the main road frontages. This reinforces the urban edge of the development.

Featuring an extensive Village Square where restaurants and cafes will attract people as they wander along their way to do the family grocery shopping at the Full in-line supermarket. With plenty of undercover parking and in very close proximity to Public transport of bus and train, the site is incredibly well situated to build a truly outstanding commercial retail and residential precinct where people can make lives for themselves and their families.

Things look bright for PAYCE`s latest development at Ermington Sydney`s most recent residential riverland playground

Ermington is a waterfront oasis where you can escape from the bustle of the day; it is also a place where you need only step outside your front door to be in the heart of Sydney's greatest playground. This is what dreams are made of. Standby for Ermington.

The Ermington proposal ...

The site was originally acquired by the Commonwealth in 1943 and used as storage by the US Army during WW2. Then in 1947, the site was used by the Royal Australian Navy as a stores depot, until it was declared surplus to the needs of the Department of Defence in 1990. The Department of Defence then prepared a Masterplan for the site that came into effect in 2002.

The Ermington residential park is a PAYCE masterplanned residential development which sees construction of nine (9) Residential Flat Buildings containing 612 dwellings over basement car parking comprising buildings between four (4) and eight (8) storeys in height on the former Naval Stores Site.

The former Naval Stores site is located on the northern side of the Parramatta River and to the east of the Silverwater Bridge, within the suburb of Ermington.

To the east of the site is Riverwalk, which is a watercourse with existing and established native vegetation of shrubs and grasses providing a sense of openness to the foreshore. This natural riverland environment contrasts with the existing mature vegetation which obscures views of the Stocklands Development from the river and the opposite foreshore, which provides a vibrancy to the overall character of the Parramatta River foreshore. Which is a mix between a more urban water frontage to the subject site and the more traditional vegetated frontage.

Pedestrian walkways wander through landscaped tree lined pocket parks between elegant modern luxury residential apartments fashioned in natural Timber and Sandstone columns with louvre windows suggesting echoes of modern European styling. Paved Courtyards, as you walk through the Organic Fruit Orchards, Vegetable and Herb Gardens.

It's early days, but PAYCE`s latest proposal looks like another step towards a developing and self sufficient family friendly community. Perhaps another landmark urban renewal project by one of Sydney`s most prestigious urban developers.
