A new digital signboard that will provide the Melrose Park Public School community up-to-the-minute information has been switched on.
PAYCE sponsored the sign, which was recently erected at the entrance to the school in Wharf Road.
The sign can send out real-time information to not only school parents but also messages to the broader community.
Melrose Park Public School Principal Clare Kristensen said: “The electronic signboard has given a nice lift to the school, taking pride of place on Wharf Road.’’
“We look forward to using it to assist parents in keeping up-to-date with school events and to further engage with our school community.”
PAYCE representative Dominic Sullivan said the company was pleased to again assist the school.
“The new digital sign will assist in communicating important messages to the school community and Melrose Park residents,” Mr Sullivan said.
“It is a highly effective way to provide regular community updates, including what is happening at the school and delivering vital messages that promote children’s safety during school hours.’’
The digital sign is the latest project PAYCE has supported at the school – others include a Future Learning Classroom and an Out of School Hours Centre (OSHC).
