PAYCE is proud to be the founding partner of the 2017 Committee for Sydney Smart City Awards.
These Awards will provide a platform to celebrate projects and partnerships that address the fundamental challenges faced by cities, governments, communities, industry and the ICT sector in Sydney. In announcing the partnership, Tim Williams the CEO of the Committee for Sydney said he would like to thank PAYCE for being the founding partner.
Nominations for the Smart City Awards close on Thursday 7 September 2017. To apply click here, you will need to submit a nomination of 300 words or less on how a project you’ve been involved in delivers on the selection criteria and apply to one or more of the awards categories.
Best Industry-led Partnership: An initiative where partners came together to tackle a problem unable to be solved by one entity alone. Demonstrated benefits might include resource management, efficiency in service delivery and improved user experiences.
Best Local Government Initiative: An initiative that delivers a better experience for Council stakeholders including visitors, ratepayers and residents. Candidate projects will deliver operational benefits to Council and/or community benefits. Highly regarded projects will align to Council strategic plans and have the potential to be reproduced across Metropolitan Sydney.
Best Community Initiative: A community driven project guided by community defined use cases and driven by community benefits. Non-proprietary, low-cost solutions that can be easily accessed by new and existing communities will be highly regarded.
Best NSW Government Initiative: An initiative that uses technology to deliver better services for the people of NSW. The initiative may relate to reducing the costs of services or enhancing the customer experience. Initiatives that deliver outcomes for the environment, people or firms across multiple government portfolios will be highly regarded.
Overall Best Smart City Project: The project that is most significant in shaping how smart city initiatives can be rolled out across Sydney. This will be drawn from nominations from the 4 other categories.
