PAYCE ADDS ITS SUPPORT TO 2015 RIVERWOOD AUTUMN FAIR
Sydney:
Leading Australian property company and long-time supporter of Riverwood community and charity events, PAYCE, has come on board as a key sponsor of this year's Riverwood Autumn Fair.
The Riverwood Autumn Fair is to be held on Saturday 7 March at the Salt Pan Reserve and Riverwood Community Centre in Belmore Road.
The primary aim of the event is to promote and enhance community spirit in the local area and raise funds to allow the Riverwood Community Centre to continue to provide ongoing services and programs that benefit the community.
Riverwood Children's Festival expands due to overwhelming community support
Originally started as a children's festival 35 years ago by the centre, the free event has gradually developed into a broader, more inclusive celebration open to the whole community.
With a change in location and date in 2013 to cater for bigger crowds, the annual fair continues to grow in popularity and is now established as one of the major multicultural community events in the area and much anticipated by local residents.
This year the fair features over 100 stalls which will offer a wide range of arts and crafts products, gifts, food and light refreshments. As well, there will be an abundance of free entertainment and attractions that will appeal to all ages.
Brain Boyd and PAYCE lend support for the Riverwood Community Festival.
PAYCE Managing Director, Brian Boyd said his company was very pleased to add its support to the popular community event.
"We know from our involvement with the Riverwood community, especially the Washington Park Open Day event, how enthusiastically locals embrace their community events and I know this year's Autumn Fair will be no exception," he said.
"This is another great opportunity to experience a day full of fun and enjoyment with family, friends and neighbours in the wonderful surrounds of the Salt Pan Wetlands," he explained.
"Most importantly, it is a day to celebrate cultural diversity and being proud to be part of a wonderful community with a great sense of community spirit," Brian Boyd said.
PAYCE joins government and corporate community to support Riverwood's cultural celebration
PAYCE'S General Manager, Dominic Sullivan said it was a privilege to be associated with this year's event.
"I have been fortunate to attend a number of successful community events in the area in recent years and I am always impressed by the enthusiasm of the community and with the outstanding support they display," he said.
"The Autumn Fair 2015 is a great example of community togetherness involving people of all ages and cultures and their willingness to share with others." Dominic Sullivan explained.
"It's a privilege for PAYCE to be associated with this event and we are proud to once again be joining our event partners from the business and government sectors in support of such a worthy initiative." Mr Sullivan said.
"The event's popularity is borne out by the fact that it has been running now for over three decades and each year thousands of residents, and visitors from outside the area, turn out to participate in the celebrations," Mr Sullivan continued.
"I'm sure everyone who attends this year will have a fantastic day and come away with great memories. PAYCE will also have a stall at the fair on the day, so I would like to invite everyone to drop by and say hello to our friendly staff." Dominic Sullivan cheerfully recommends.
Riverwood 2015 Autumn Fair gets underway
The day gets underway at 9am, followed by the official opening at 11am and then the entertainment continues non-stop through the day with performances by bands, choirs and dancing troupes.
In addition to fun rides and other special attractions for the young ones, there will be a feast of food stalls offering irresistible and delicious multicultural cuisine, all at affordable prices.
