PAYCE PARTNERS WITH KIRRAWEE PUBLIC SCHOOL TO CELEBRATE SCHOOL'S 65TH ANNIVERSARY

  • Kirrawee, Sydney:

PAYCE signs $10,000 sponsorship for Sutherland Shire's Kirrawee Public School on the school's 65th Anniversary.

Leading Australian property company, PAYCE has joined Sutherland Shire's Kirrawee Public School as a Partner level Sponsor to support the school's 65th anniversary fundraising program.

Best known locally for its Kirrawee brickpit project and its work with numerous community and charity organisations across the Shire, PAYCE has signed up to a $10,000 sponsorship.

Kirrawee Public School's 65 challenge

The school's P&C Association aims to raise $65,000 in 65 weeks (from 1 February 2015 to 1 May 2016) to celebrate the school's presence in the Shire since its first intake of students in 1950.

Money raised under the anniversary fundraising program will help the P&C support the students' learning through technology, extra-curricular activities and the purchase of additional educational resources. The funds will also be used for improvements to the school grounds and subsidising outdoor play and sporting facilities.

To mark the school's special milestone, the P&C will be hosting a 65th anniversary Sapphire Dinner at Club Kirrawee on 2 May, with past and present families, teachers, students and friends (over 18) welcome to attend.

Brian Boyd and PAYCE Come to the party with fundraising support

PAYCE Managing Director, Brian Boyd said PAYCE was proud to join the Kirrawee school community and help support the school in realising its funding goal.

"It is a pleasure to help such a hard-working and dedicated P&C team, who have a wonderful record of delivering a wide range of benefits to their school," he said.

Recent contributions by the P&C include subsidising the cost of gymnastics, futsal and softball programs, ensuring every classroom has a 'smartboard', contributing towards iPads and sporting equipment and providing $10,000 worth of reading resources.

Brian Boyd said Kirrawee Public School had a wonderful reputation for its academic and sporting achievements, and for the contribution it makes to the local community through sporting and other school events.

"The 65th anniversary fundraiser is a wonderful initiative and we welcome the opportunity to be a partner in the events planned around the celebrations through the year," Brian Boyd added.

PAYCE Corporate partner in School Fundraiser

PAYCE General Manager Dominic Sullivan said it was a pleasure to support the good work done by the P&C, who work tirelessly throughout the year to help the school to maintain and enhance the school's learning environment.

"The school has forged strong links with the local business community and PAYCE is excited to come on board as a corporate partner in support of the anniversary fundraiser and to assist with other events during the year.

"PAYCE has been working closely with a number of community and charity organisations across the Shire for some time now and is excited about bringing a new energy to the area with its redevelopment project on the former Kirrawee brickpit site, where there will be a range of modern amenities and landscaped parkland for the future benefit and enjoyment of the whole community," he said.
