Brian Boyd - PAYCE shares Australia Day holiday celebrations with people of Canterbury.

PAYCE's Managing Director, Brian Boyd said his company was extremely proud to be associated with such a worthy celebration that embraces community harmony. "The day promises to be a great community event for all ages and interests, with the focus on the promotion of community spirit," he said.

"On behalf of PAYCE, I congratulate Mayor Brian Robson and council staff for organising such a wonderful program and I wish everyone a great day out, full of enjoyment and fun."

Mayor Brian Robson said: "PAYCE has been doing great work in Riverwood with the development of Washington Park and that great work has now been extended to supporting Council's Australia Day celebrations and ensuring Riverwood residents can enjoy our Family Fun Day at Tasker Park in Canterbury."

Washington Park has a special place ...

Mr Boyd said there was no better example of a redevelopment creating a new community than at the Washington Park, Riverwood North Urban Renewal project. It is a great example of what can be achieved with integrated housing projects in Sydney.

"All PAYCE community apartment developments are special in their own way, but the Riverwood North Urban Renewal holds a special place in the company history.

"There is more work to be done, but it is a great showcase of urban renewal."

Mr Boyd said that the NSW Government project had been well supported by Canterbury Council and the local community.

"I think it is a great example of how the private and public sector can work together to achieve benefit for people who really deserve it. "This is a proud community and they are all working together to make what they have even better and that is something of which to be very proud."

Celebrate Australia Day the Canterbury way...

The mayor continues …
"Australia Day is an opportunity to reflect on from where we have come and to where we are going so that we can continue to make our community, and our country, great," Mayor Brian Robson said.

"To help celebrate Australia Day, the Canterbury way, we will again be hosting a Family Fun Day and Pool Party that will kick-off from 10am at Tasker Park, Canterbury.

"We will be holding soccer and rugby clinics thanks to Little Kickers, there will be free rides for the kids, face painting, self-defence demonstrations and the popular game zone with tug of war, thong throwing and potato sack racing."

"Our family fun day will have something for everyone, so if you want to have some fun in the sun, head to Tasker Park and Canterbury Aquatic and Fitness Centre on Australia Day," the Mayor said.

Washington Park – here`s why it's special.

PAYCE'S General Manager, Dominic Sullivan said PAYCE's Washington Park residential complex was a fine example of how communities could be enhanced by empowering them to realise their potential. "PAYCE has been fortunate to partner with a number of local bodies to help deliver real results in community renewal and social inclusion," he said.

"Washington Park is a new residential concept, providing a mix of social and private accommodation, our vision for Washington Park is a place for people of all ages and cultures – for young families and singles, teenagers and seniors alike."

"Washington Park ticks all the boxes to make it an urban renewal showcase project for residents and the Riverwood community to enjoy," he said.

Mr Sullivan said Washington Park is one of most exciting urban renewal projects ever undertaken by PAYCE.
