10 December 2014: View some of the highlights from the Opening Night of the 2014 Lights of Christmas presented by PAYCE. The spectacular digital 3D light and sound projections at St Mary’s Cathedral depicted picturesque imagery around the 2014 theme of “Service”, a spirited children’s animation on the 12 days of Christmas and images of the Madonna and Child from some of the word’s greatest artists.
For the first time, the Lights of Christmas Opening Night featured a special headline production with performances from leading Australian artists Paulini and Mark Vincent, with Sandra Sully as guest MC. Also there on the night to entertain the crowd in the lead up to this year’s first Light of Christmas show were the Sydney Boys Choir and George Ellis Choir and Orchestra.
